Out of Coverage

This is the view from my front porch this morning.

Even though it's less than three weeks since Christmas,

a blah had settled over our house.

A holiday let down you might say.

Having my sister and bro-in-law in for the holidays was amazing,

but the kids adjusted hard to them leaving.

The Hero and I were unable to take much time off for the holidays,

and since we are trying out our new word: Intentional,

we packed it up and drove several hours outside the city.

To a cabin in the woods.

I've never been in this part of the world before.

And we are enjoying it immensely.

We are playing and praying about things to come,

how else we want to be intentional,

and the things that we want to accomplish this year.

So if you call us in the next few days,

your calls may not be returned.

We are outside of coverage.
